Late 19th Century Tin Lithographed Lock Box – D.D. Brown, Mayor of DeKalb, IL columbus 4"W x 3"H x 6"DBlack tin lithographed lock box with hand painted gilt trim and the name D. D. Brown emblazoned across the front panel. The hinged lid includes a central handle and fitted lock escutcheon (no key present). The interior retains its original deep blue enamel finish, a striking contrast to the utilitarian exterior. The box shows age appropriate dents, scratches, and wear from use but remains structurally sound. This box once belonged to D. D. Brown, who
