Cypripedium Kathleen Anne Green Portugal pretty darn amazingThis is our first offering of the splendid ladyslipper orchid hybrid, created in 1992 by Iowa orchid breeder Carson Whitlow. Cypripedium 'Kathleen Anne Green' is a cross of the heat tolerant native Cypripedium kentuckiense, and the multiflowered Chinese Cypripedium henryi. Each stalk usually produces two flowers with white pouches, backed by cinnamon purple striped sepals. Our cypripedium offerings are all flowering sized plants, mostly eight years
