Victorian "Mummy & Baby Frog" Brooches russian 10ct brilliant cut diamondsDATE: Victorian, c. 1870 The sweetest pair of frog brooches, near identical other than size a mummy and baby frog. They're studded with bright white paste gemstones, and ruby paste eyes. We bought them as a pair, and they certainly appear to have been made as such, however (and I have no idea why) the marks on the backs are different one's 900 silver, the other is 925 silver.
