Hosta ventricosa Flame Stitch Chrysogonum This Kevin Vaughn hybrid isThis 1991 introduction first caught our eyes and then our hearts. H. 'Flame Stitch' is the reverse variegation of H. ventricosa 'Aureomarginata'. The difficulty in propagation assures that this will never be a widespread cultivar, although we find that plenty of sun makes it grow much faster.
