'Hochäcker' Blaufränkisch Vinos Del Viento Grapes: 42% MontepulcianoNatural Red Wine The Hochcker vineyard is one of the oldest in Horitschon. Its stone free, hard, loamy subsoil is rich in iron, making it a traditional soil for Blaufrnkisch. Our 40 year old vines produce grapes of the highest quality here every harvest. Franz Weninger states that this has notes of "Red berry fruit, fine forest berries, delicate hints of cherries, spices and tobacco. Freshly structured on the palate. A complex wine, but not opulent.
