Koptisch zegenkruis uit Ethiopië weave Dimensions: ±53 cm x 16Afmetingen: 29 x 8,5 cm. Herkomst: Amhara. Priesters dragen handkruizen, gewikkeld in een doek, om de gelovigen te zegenen. Daarom moeten handkruisen gemakkelijk te dragen zijn. Elke Ethiopische priester heeft een handkruis (Meskel in het Amhaars) waarmee hij de gelovigen zegent. Het kruis is handgemaakt volgens de verloren was methode en is een uniek stuk.
