Pictish Seahorse Pendant in Electric Enamel SageCode-9Y-DR132 25ct Princess Diamond Ring inAn elegant Pictish Seahorse pendant in sterling silver and Electric enamel. The seahorse design measures approximately 10mm by 16mm and hangs on a silver curb chain. Sheila took the inspiration for her Pictish Seahorse collection from an ancient symbol stone found buried in a garden at the Ness in Tankerness, Orkney. The seahorse carving in yellow sandstone was discovered in 1986 and now resides in the Orkney Museum in Kirkwall.
