Antique English Walnut Folding Lap Desk cupboard 29" in heightLate 19th or early 20th century wooden writing box or lap desk. This piece features richly stained walnut on the exterior and interior with a faux leather writing surface; the writing surface is removable and features more storage underneath. The top of the desk features compartments for writing utensils and other office supplies and all hardware is original brass. Exhibits minor signs of wear including some cracking and splitting on the writing
