Catalogue study librarySeptimania, or the province of Narbonne, is a region that roughly corresponds to the western part of the ancient Roman province of Narbonne Gaul. This designation, originating from the Carolingian period, is used primarily for the period from the 6th to the 9th century. During the "barbarian invasions", the Goths settled in Narbonne Gaul. The Visigothic kingdom then extended over all of Aquitaine and the Iberian Peninsula.
