Mid Victorian Pavé Turquoise Falcon Brooch sardonyx Which leaves Be and woBDATE: Victorian, c. 1860 A stunning mid Victorian bird brooch, seemingly some sort of falcon hawk raptor possibly a sparrowhawk or red kite? It's beautifully made, fully pav set with turquoise cabochons, and of 3D construction with feather detail and ruby eyes posed as if mantling its prey.
