Baden, Grand Duchy. A Commemorative Cross for Voluntary War Aid 1870/71 Buy Now dated “1914”(Erinnerungskreuz fr freiwillige Hilfsttigkeit 1870 71). Instituted 25 June 1871 by Grand Duke Friedrich. (1871 issue). Constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte the obverse bearing a central ribbed Geneva Cross, flanked by dates 1870 1871, situated above a Baden coat of arms, topped by a royal crown, the reverse bearing a central raised monogram of Grand Duke Friedrich, unmarked,
