A Senator's Badge, C.1930 United Republic of Type II (post 1772 version)A silver badge constructed in the shape of an eagle, presenting the coat of arms of Romania, a crowned eagle holding a cross in its beak and a mace and a sword in its claws, with a central shield depicting symbols for the historical provinces of Romania, a banner stating SENATUL ROMAN hangs at the eagles feet, the reverse plain except for a vertical pin, hinge, and catch, measures 49. 65 mm (w) x 59. 75 mm (h), and in extremely fine condition.
