Victorian Musical Locket Archaeological Revival Some damage/repair work to theDATE: Victorian, c. 1880 An incredible antique "musical locket" dating from the latter half of the 19th Century. It's crafted in silver gilt the outer case adorned with gorgeous hand chased detailing and it opens to reveal a miniature music box, the inner workings on display through a clear compartment. There's a small winder and button on the back to begin playing the song. It's made by Reuge, an esteemed Swiss music box maker established in 1865.
