That hasn't stopped them innovating though, and the latest batch of guides are practically a work of art! The LG1 uses all the features and options of it's big brother, the LG1 Plus, with the exception of the backing plate. The LG1 is using a pressed chromoly steel back plate that adds about 32g. The back plate is nickel plated to protect against corrosion.
