Nepenthes tentaculata can be found throughout the island of Borneo and Sulawesi

We find it reminiscent of Nepenthes villosa but much easier (a poor man’s villosa if you will)

the striped Bareo form of veitchii and the Giant form of spectabilis

The tendril insertion is peltate (meaning coming from inside the leaf) but plants have to be fairly large to exhibit this characteristic

This spectacular variety of ventricosa exhibits porcelain white pitcher bodies with a flared red peristome. It seems like there's a number of locations in the Phillipines where this form occurs and there's been a number of forms and clones circulating throughout Europe and the USA for decades.
