It was a popular motive in the Victorian era, full of romantic sentiment and often gifted to a bride on her wedding day. This example is finely worked, and set with a ruby, a blue sapphire, and old cut diamonds. It's modelled in 18k gold, with clear English hallmarks from the year 1899.
