Germany, Empire. A Telegrapher’s Belt Buckle, C. 1917 Buy Now inscribed with “HE DIED FOR(Telegraph Koppelschloss). Constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse displaying the royal crown on a raised field, circumscribed Gott Mit Uns (God With Us) along with an open ended wreath below, a bracket is riveted to each side of the buckle via two rivets each for wires to be passed through, the reverse plain, a catch, and a standard dual prong spring bar, measuring 102 mm (w) x 47 mm (h), in fair condition.
