Bandelier National Monument Bolihua Ornament CHIS "w-Hoo" makes a perfectly huggableOur Bandelier National Monument bolihua ornament captures the significance of this historic New Mexico landscape. The design reflects the ancient cliff dwellings and cultural sites preserved within the monument. Bolihua is a reverse glass painting technique developed in China in the early 1700s. Each ornament is hand painted inside a glass bulb using narrow brushes and fine tools. The layered process takes several days and creates a one of a kind
