obverse centre presenting a large silver star on blue enameled background

with the maker's mark in silver ink but it has fragmented

Germany, Ss. An Ss-Verfügungstruppe (Dispositional Troops) Em’s Collar Tab Hold 7 mm x 38 mm(SS Verfngungstruppe Kragenspiegel). Constructed of a dark brown wool base with buckram core and woven silver wire trim, obverse bearing machine embroidered silver aluminum bullion wire double sig runes of the Waffen SS and number 2, unmarked, measuring 41 mm (w) x 55 mm (l), in extremely fine condition.
