Constructed of gilded and silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a diving Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the eagle demonstrating the classic screaming expression and third tail feather characteristic of this manufacturer, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the obverse eagle in place, with a raised and narrow
