A very well preserved Heer EM NCOs overseas service cap, constructed of field grey wool. It is fully surrounded by fold down side panels, scalloped at the front, reinforced along the top edge with dual rows of machine stitching. The crown is flanked by ventilation holes both reinforced with grey painted zink grommets. Stitched onto the peak is an insignia consisting of a field grey backer bearing a machine embroidered silver grey
