Autograph letter written by the opera diva, dated in 1881, 7 pages on paper with personal letterhead, 5 x 8 inches. Letter discusses several musical matters, including her idea of a scholarship for singers at the Academy of Music. Signed by Lind at the end with very clear, bold writing.
