The narrow, glossy golden leaves form an attractive small 15" wide clump, topped in mid July with 18" tall flower scapes that are heavily speckled purple a hummingbird favorite. The purple flower buds opening pinkish lavender and accompanying purple tinged vestigial leaves are a nice color contrast to the bright gold foliage.
