Face au soleil : un astre dans les arts. Antiquité Collection of Egyptological ClassicsIn 2022, the Muse Marmottan Monet celebrates the 150th anniversary of Claude Monet's Impression, Sunrise , a flagship work in its collections. To mark the occasion, it is partnering with the Muse Barberini, another collector's house and owner of the "nighttime counterpart" to Impression, Sunrise : Le Port du Havre, Effet de Nuit, to organize the exhibition entitled "Facing the Sun." Curated by art historians Marianne Mathieu, scientific director of
