BANNON, reverse 6 oclock arm marked STERLING, worn on full length purple silk neck ribbon, light wear, extremely fine. Footnote: John Maxel Bannon was born in Artemesia, Grey County, Ontario in 1890. He was employed as jeweller when he was drafted under the Military Service Act in July 1918. He served with the 259th Battalion in Canada. Bannon died October 28, 1918 of severe
