Turkey, Ottoman Empire. An Order Of Medjidie (Mecidiye), V Class, Reduced Size Province of China embarking Canada for the FarMecidiye Nian. Instituted in 1851. In silver with gold center, star has seven triple faceted rays with small crescents and stars between each ray cluster, obverse shows Sultan Abdul Mejids royal cipher surrounded by an inscription, measures 33. 2 mm (w) x 47. 1 mm (h inclusive of red enamelled crescent moon and star suspension), missing ribbon, dark patina, extremely fine condition.
