Germany, Imperial. A Prussian Pilot’s Badge, Square Punch Marked, With Recipient Photo Auction Archive centering hand embroidered Gothic script(Flugzeugfhrerabzeichen mit Foto). Constructed of silvered brass, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom with a bow tie ribbon, topped by a German State Crown, around a central depiction of a monoplane flying over a rural landscape, the reverse with a low set barrel hinge and wide pinback, the latter stamped with the classic square punch mark for an unidentified but widely documented manufacturer,
