but as this was not entirely completed

circumscribed by a gilt inscription of “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (“THE GERMAN MOTHER”)

Germany, Luftwaffe. A Mint Geschwader Immelmann Em/Nco’s Cuff Title Archive gilt wear on the LSC(Luftwaffe rmelband "Geschwader Immelmann" fr Mannschaften). Constructed of dark navy blue wool, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered silver grey inscription of GESCHWADER IMMELMANN, the reverse featuring a black cotton liner, unmarked, measuring 4. 5 cm (w) x 45. 5 cm (l), an unissued example of a cuff title worn by members of Fliegegeschwader Schwerin in near mint condition.
